Solas Rubex Lexor L3 model propeller has RBX-104 loose hub for Suzuki and Evinrude/Johnson outboards. The hub is supplied with the propeller.
The Rubex Lexor L3 propeller is designed for larger boats, with a large diameter and larger blade area. The propeller has good performance at high and medium speeds. The propeller offers excellent efficiency and fuel economy for offshore boats.
Aluminium or steel propeller?
Most boats come standard with an aluminium propeller. If you are looking for better performance such as top speed and acceleration you should consider a steel propeller.
A good thing to consider when choosing a propeller
Check the size of your current propeller. The propeller size is marked on the side of the propeller hub or on the end of the propeller hub. For example, 13 x 15, the first number is the propeller diameter and the second is the propeller pitch in inches.
A change in propeller pitch can increase or decrease engine speed. An increase or decrease of two inches (2") of pitch will usually affect engine RPM by approximately +- 300-400 rpm. Check the engine manufacturer's recommended rpm range for your outboard!
When you purchase an engine, a propeller of a certain size is often supplied with the engine. The size of this propeller is estimated to fit as many motorboat combinations as possible. This so-called standard propeller may not be the best choice in all cases. Two identical boats with identical engines may have different propeller sizes if, for example, they are driven with different loads.
