Tohatsu 13-1/4x17 propeller
Solas NS3 New Saturn Rubex steel propeller fits Tohatsu 60-115 hp outboards with 4-1/4" hub and 15 pulleys. The Rubex RBX-109 propeller hub is supplied with the propeller.
The Rubex NS3 (New Saturn) model is a high performance all-around propeller with good performance due to its large blade area.
Aluminium or steel propeller?
If you are looking for better performance such as top speed and acceleration you should consider a steel propeller.
Good things to consider when choosing a propeller
Check the size of your current propeller. The propeller size is marked on the side of the propeller hub or on the end of the propeller hub. For example, 13x15, the first number is the propeller diameter and the second is the propeller pitch in inches.
A change in propeller pitch can increase or decrease engine RPM.
A 2-inch (2") pitch increase or decrease will typically affect engine RPM by approximately +- 300-400 RPM. Check the engine manufacturer's recommended rpm range for your outboard!
When you purchase an outboard, it is often supplied with a propeller that is rated to fit as many engine/boat combinations as possible.
This propeller may not always be the best choice in all cases. Two identical boats with identical engines may have different propeller sizes if, for example, the boats are operated with different loads.
The propellers may not always be the best choice.
