Description
Star brite canopy impregnation PTEF
Star brite canopy impregnation is safe to use on all types of fabrics. The premium colourless impregnant contains PTEF, which makes the surface waterproof and breathable at the same time. For use on boat covers (boat press), sails, sunshades, clothing, tents (sailcloth, nylon, sunbrella, blended fabrics, leather). PTEF provides the ultimate protection for boats.
PTEF is a high-tech polymer that adheres firmly to fibreglass, painted and polished surfaces. It makes the treated surface extremely durable and provides maximum protection against dirt oil and other contaminants. The treated area forms a UV and weather resistant surface that is also resistant to oxidation. PTEF provides a much longer lasting protection of the surface than other similar polishes or waxes.
Instructions for use:
If the surface to be treated is dirty, clean it with Star brite canopy cleaner. The fabric to be treated must be dry before using the impregnant! Wet the entire surface to be treated with the impregnant by spraying or brushing/sponge application. Avoid over-wetting, dripping and run-off on surfaces you do not wish to treat. Allow the treated area to dry for at least 6 hours before use. Do not fold the fabric when it is wet, but only when it is completely dry. Use only in a well-ventilated area.
